Getting to Montenegro

OK, so flying seems to be a good option !

Montenegro has two International airports; Podgorica, the capital city and Tivat airport on the coast.

Also, Dubrovnik airport in Croatia is a good option as it’s only about 16kms from the border with Montenegro in the north of the country.

Podgorica Airport

Just 12 kms from the centre of Podgorica, this airport is a fairy good location for all destinations in Montenegro as it’s only about 60kms from the main coastal destinations and between 50 and 150 kms from the mountain resorts.
There are daily flights to Belgrade airport in Serbia which in-turn connects with many major European cities.

Tivat Airport

A great location to land if you are spending your holiday or business time on or near the coast.
There are daily flights to Belgrade airport in Serbia which in-turn connects with many major European cities as well as many charter flights during the summer season, including London and Manchester.

Dubrovnik Airport

British Airways fly here from Gatwick everyday in the summer and about 3 or 4 times per week out of season. Summer-season budget airlines flying to Dubrovnik at the moment include Easyjet, Thomson and FlyBe......but it’s worth checking these and others as schedules seem to change quite frequently. Also, there are many charter operators using Dubrovnik during the summer months.
Croatia Airlines also offer a frequent scheduled service to London, however, not always direct.

However painful it might be checking the Montenegro Airlines website, www.montenegroairlines.com
It might be worth having a look as they do seem to offer some scheduled services from Podgorica and Tivat to London direct.
